To my mind, "tablet computing" is on the same shelf as "voice-activated computing." In theory: nifty. In practice, more than a bit awkward.

How to cut the Land O' Lakes box so the lady's knees are her boobs

Haiti earthquake: 360° video
Source: www.cnn.com
Two things: 1) I am still a little shocked that this "360° video" technology exists. Amazing. 2) The truck driver in this video is a bit of a dick. "Outta my way, I'm filming for CNN, I'm gonna drive on the wrong side of the road because I'm wicked important!"

In the office, spread the word. IE6 is downright toxic, and in more ways than one. If your enterprise IT people say "we can't switch, because our intranet is built on IE6-proprietary code," then they need to wake up. It's a potentially-MUCH-more-expensive security risk, BESIDE the fact that…what…did they expect their vintage 2001 intranet to really last forever?

I can't even read this language, but my buddy Howard was just published in Nature Medicine. SO AWESOME!
